How much can I save?

We provide detailed estimates of your yearly savings, how quickly the system pays itself off, and how much it saves after that, which is your profit on the system.

Averages

An average lifetime profit projection is between £20,000 and £30,000 after it has repaid itself, on a £10,000 system.

Our largest residential system

Projected total savings of £78,000 after it has repaid itself, on an £18,000 system.

Diminishing returns

Generally the higher the spend, the larger the return, but there is a point where savings do not scale against system cost. We analyse this and work out the sweet spot.

  1. 1

    Site visit

We get in touch and arrange a site visit to suit your needs. Day, evening, weekend? It has to work around you and possibly other people.

  2. 2

    Measure up

We come over and measure a host of things, and try to avoid pricing without all the information. At no point will you be asked for a sale here.

  3. 3

    Calculate

We take the data back to the office and build a detailed picture of performance, repay rate, lifetime savings and cost.

  4. 4

    Price

We arrange another visit to help you decipher all the jargon, and walk you through the graphs and data.

Calculating return on investment.

Projections take into account the size of the system, the orientation and angle of the roof, and the location of the property.

We then add your electricity usage per month, time of usage (do you work from home during the day or not), weekend usage and battery storage.

More savings?

Charging on cheap overnight rates gives access to a much cheaper rate of electricity for a set period, granting great additional savings.

Other ways to save

Electric vehicle charging and water heating are great ways to boost savings using the sun’s free electricity.

MCS accreditation

MCS provides a framework for assessing the performance of systems, and projections are a requirement. We follow its guidelines to keep them as accurate as possible.
